Wednesday August 12, 2026: The Beginning

AFTERNOON:

Begin arriving at Ensign Ranch

Set up "Base Camp" at Riverbend campsite (individual family tents)

Dinner

Prepare for Trek (load handcarts, organize all participants)

Sleep in Tents/sleeping bags at Riverbend

Thursday August 13, 2026: The Trek

MORNING:

Embark on Pioneer Trek

Initially along trails within Ensign Ranch, then cross River and head North

Travel along powerline clearing (public access roads/trails)

Note: portable toilets will be available all along the trek

Stops at various times

LATE EVENING:

Camp for the night "on the trail" with tarps/blankets, etc.

Friday August 14, 2026: Pioneer Life

MORNING:

Devotional/Testimony Meeting/Quiet Time/Reflection on previous day

Continue Trek & Cross River again

ABOUT NOON:

Return to "Base Camp"

AFTERNOON:

Pioneer activities and games around Base Camp (fields around Riverbend Campsites)

EVENING:

Hoedown in Lodge

Sleep in tents/sleeping bags again at Riverbend

Those not participating in the Trek can stay at Base Camp, enjoy early versions of Friday's Pioneer Activities/Games, or explore other amenities at Ensign Ranch. Also available to participate in Trek for the first few miles around Ensign Ranch, then return to Base Camp instead of crossing the River.

Those who did not participate in Thursday's Trek can join Friday morning for the last final leg of Trek back to Base Camp.

Saturday August 15, 2026: Back to Normal

MORNING:

Pack up camp

Enjoy Ensign Ranch amenities (canoes, archery, swimming, etc.)

AFTERNOON:

Return home
